I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere at Edelweiss. The staff was friendly and the breakfast had plenty of options to choose from.

Beautiful view from the (big) terrace of our Room on the last floor - straight to the Meteori rocks. Well situated in the heart of the City, it's worth it's price. It has it's own parking place, which is good.

Swimming pool was "under construction" (Mid-July 2011)

the small elevator, only for two with small bags, but anyway it was funny I had never seen such a small elevator.

The bedroom was nice and clean, and we got a big bathroom and a huge terrasse with very nice views to Meteora's mountains. The swimming pool was nice after the whole morning walk and breakfast (included) was also ok. Location was good for climbing to Meteora or for taking the bus, although all the hotels in Kalambaka are so since nothing is very far.

Although we were on a 4th floor, we heard a lot of noise from the bars on the street at night, maybe because it was weekend...

The Hotel is near to the station of Kalambaka's train and the price is good. The village is very nice.

The rooms at this hotel come with a massive balcony that offers stunning views of Meteora. The staff at this hotel are friendly and provide excellent service. The breakfast, although with some poor ingredients, offers many varieties to choose from.

The hotel could improve on the quality of some of its breakfast ingredients.

Price was reasonable and good location from train station and Meteora as took the train up from Athens. Also we had balcony views of the Meteora which was quite spectacular.

The breakfast was quite minimal. The milk as with most places in Greece was not fresh pasteurised milk(cow) but the local brand "Nou Nou" which is from goat's milk - yuk! Rest ok.

Nice design elements in hotel but brown shag carpet in rooms is 70's and doesn't look clean or go with rest of hotel

This hotel, located in the center of Kalambaka, is a gem of a place. The rooms are charming and offer a stunning view of Meteora from their massive balconies. The staff, who go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable, are incredibly friendly and helpful. Additionally, the breakfast spread is varied and delicious.
